Neeraj Vora Passes Away After Prolonged Illness

Actor and director, Neeraj Vora, who had directed films like Daud and Phir Hera Pheri, passed away in Mumbai’s suburban hospital on Thursday at 4 am. The director was 54 years old.

Neeraj Vora after a severe heart attack after which he had a brain stroke when he was in Delhi last year had been seriously ill.

Later he was brought to the AIIMS hospital in Delhi where he was undergoing treatment and few days later, he had slipped into coma.

Neeraj Vora Passes Away After Prolonged Illness

Seeing no improvement in his health, Firoz Nadiadwala, the producer, decided to bring back Neeraj to Mumbai and get him treated there. In March, Firoz airlifted him to Mumbai. Neeraj Vohra had written movies like Hera Pheri and directed Phir Hera Pheri for Firoz Nadiadwala. Both Neeraj Vora and Firoz Nadiadwala were fast friends.

Ever since Firoz Nadiadwala got Neeraj Vora airlifted from Delhi to Mumbai, Vora was had been living with Firoz Nadiadwala at his home under supervision of doctors. In 2015, Neeraj Vora was last seen in Firoz Nadiadwala’s Welcome Back.

Some of the other movies where Neeraj has worked are Khiladi 420, which stars Akshay Kumar; he has written the movie Golmaal for Rohit Shetty, and has also worked for him in Bol Bachhan. He has also worked in movies such as Daud, Dhadkan, Pukar, and many more.

Actor and politician, Paresh Rawal who has worked with him in Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri was among many others who took it to twitter expressing his grief about the sad demise of the actor, director and producer Neeraj Vora, who will be remembered by everyone in the film industry.

For the Bollywood industry, it is a great loss, and Neeraj will remain in everyone’s heart forever.
