The kit will be bagged by the first 500 customers and the rest will have to buy it as an additional option. Items included in the kit comprise:

- Aluminum handlebar with bar-end weights and cross-brace for rough terrains
- Powder coated engine guard
A 2-year warranty is offered by the manufacturer, which can be bought by owners of first 500 units. The inclusion of the Explorer Kit makes the Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet Edition expensive by Rs 28,000 over the regular version.
There is no change in the mechanical parameters of the Himalayan Sleet and so the new version too has a 411 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine tweaked to generate 32 Nm of peak torque at 4500 rpm and 24 bhp at 6500 rpm. Dual purpose tyres are fitted on the front 21 inch spoke wheel as well as the rear, which measures 18 inch. Suspension setup useful for long travel and disc brakes at the rear and front enhance the braking performance.
The new color scheme of the camouflage paint job, which has shades of grey, is inspired from the Himalayas while a mixed bag of motorcycle accessories from the manufacturers forms the Explorer Kit.
The new Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet Edition, which is available for an on-road (Chennai) price of Rs 2,12,666 sure has added extra excitement to the entry level adventure tourer.
