Xiaomi Launches 50 Inch 4K HDR TV—Specs, Features

All new 50-inch Mi TV has been launched by Xiaomi. Mi TV 4A series was launched back in 2017 and the 50-inch TV is its 6th addition. The new 50-inch Mi TV 4A is priced at CNY 2,399 (approximately Rs. 23,800).

The Mi TV 4A lineup already had five variants. The 50-inch Xiaomi Mi TV 4A boasts of a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution display. The Mi TV 4A series is available in a frameless design. It has an integrated Mi TV Bar with 10 speakers, 2 wireless rear satellite speakers and a subwoofer. The model is based on Dolby Atmos audio technology and is available with 2 up-firing speakers, which can offer an immense 3D sound experience.

The new Xiaomi TV sports an artificial intelligence UI called PatchWall, based on deep learning AI technology, to the Mi TV 4. It helps in creating content on the basis of recommendations.

The 50 inch Mi TV 4A has a 64-bit Amlogic L962 quad-core processor, which is coupled with 2GB RAM and has an internal storage of 8GB. Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Dolby, and DTS Audio are also present offering superior connectivity. To reduce eye issues, the Mi TV 4A also features a blue light-reducing mode. 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, AV input, Ethernet port and an S/PDIF audio output port are present. The TV also sports a Mi Bluetooth Remote Control, which is used for Bluetooth, Speech Recognition, Mi Touch and Infrared.

In January 2017, Mi TV 4 television lineup was displayed at CES. Later in March, the Mi TV 4A series was launched in 65-inch, 55-inch, and 49-inch screen sizes. In July 2017, the smallest model of the Mi TV4A with a 32-inch display was released.

Pre-order registrations of the Mi TV 4A will commence from Friday and will go on sale on January 23. A CNY 100 (roughly Rs. 1,000) discount is also available when the sales begin.
