Samsung has revealed yet one more gadget that it will be displaying at the forthcoming conference of CES 2018 planned to occur in Las Vegas, U.S. from January 9, 2018, to January12, 2018. The tech major of South Korea will be displaying what it dubs as the first curved QLED monitor with capability of Thunderbolt 3 connectivity of Intel. Dubbed as CJ791, the display is advertized for support of Thunderbolt 3, which is believed to enhance content presentation and streamline performance. It is planned for professional users and entertainment.
The display has 21:9 aspect ratio with a 34-inch screen and ultra-wide QHD resolution with 3440 x 1440 pixels. Consumers can regulate the height of the display and even tilt it for enhanced placing. The display is claimed to give almost 178-degree viewing angle and mirror colors all over a 125% sRGB spectrum.
It even allows consumers dock and link their laptop and monitor without additional wiring with just one cable for Thunderbolt 3. It has a speed for processing of almost 40 Gbps permitting consumers to take pleasure of connectivity all over a complete bionetwork of displays, docks, and peripheral devices comprising USB type-C laptops, Macs, and other accessories of desktop such as external graphics cards or storage drives,” claims the firm.
Also cited is that the display can offer almost 85 watts (W) of power for charging the laptop. Some of the functions comprise a 4 Milliseconds (ms) response time and a Game Mode. More information will be rolled at the time of CES 2018.
Samsung has previously declared that it will be boasting 3 new proposals at CES 2018 that arrives from C-Lab division of the company. One of the underlined projects is the project for directional speaker dubbed as S-Ray. The tech major of South Korea will also be showing its wall-mountable NW700 soundbar at the event.
